The Boat Club has level short grass pitches with electricity. Showers and toilets are available plus elsan and rubbish bins. Please keep dogs on a lead, when not in your van. The site is a large secure canal marina and maintenance centre with an excellent club house and cheap bar, in which we traditionally play games some nights. Dogs not allowed inside the club house but may use the balcony. We organise an easy short walk up the canal on the first day. Stafford town centre is two miles away by bike on the towpath.
We will send out a map by email with directions to the Club to all applicants.
NO ARRIVALS BEFORE 12 Noon on opening day.
There is a steep road of about a third of a mile to supermarkets, an excellent butchers, plus a bus stop to Stafford, Sheffield and Litchfield. The National Arboretum is a short drive away.
All medical services are nearby. Canal fishing and free tuition plus a loan of tackle is available.
