The club is a very short stroll to the beautiful Llyn Tegid lake which has a lovely accessible path round to a cafe. In addition it is a short level walk to the small town with many independent shops, pubs, cafes and a Co-Op. Also close to the steam railway. Many other nice walks and buses to Dolgellau and Llangollen (English bus passes not accepted!)
SUGGESTION for a stopover between Bala and Aberystwyth:
Hendre Mynach Touring Caravan and Camping Park in Barmouth is a full facility site near to a lovely beach.
